If you don't want the next 5 years to be the same as the
last 5 years you need to change something that you do - NOW
Anna Zake
I came to this country from Latvia and was a
director of a large supermarket with a team of 60
people. I qualified as an economist with two first
class degrees but after losing my business due to
the recession in the country came to England.
I
started working for £3.00 an hour for 14 hours per
day packing frozen chickens which I did for around 6
months. In order to help make ends meet I decided to
look for another part-time job. Through a friend I
made contact with a couple who had their own
business that needed someone to clean their house.
After meeting the couple and their three children, I
asked them about the business.
They explained the opportunity to me and within
five minutes I decided to join. The opportunity
sounded like a way out of working for a pittance and
cleaning people's floors.
In the first six months I built my business
around two other jobs and 'No Time' was not an
answer for me.
My first cheque with two other jobs was £213.37
working part-time
After twelve months my cheque was over
£2,300
and I managed to move from a one bedroom flat into a
large four bedroom detached house and now own three
new cars
I now believe that dreams do come true if you
have the right attitude and are prepared to put in
the required effort
