If you don't want the next 5 years to be the same as the
last 5 years you need to change something that you do - NOW
Aleta Warner
I was working at a mushroom farm from 1999 -2004 and was reasonably happy
there, I made some good friends there. Although the
job was boring I had a good time there with my
friends.
In November 2000 my eldest of three
daughters died of kidney cancer. After this the
mushroom farm was a depressing place to work, dirty
damp and never seeing daylight all day and a boss
who was always putting pressure on to work harder.
I
stuck it out for three more years.
One day I just
decided I'd had enough and gave notice to quit.
By chance I
saw an advert offering a way to earn an extra income
and decided to call. I started with 200 books and
got about £180 worth of orders with the first drops,
not bad as I live in a very rural area.
I now have a
customer base of about 400 people and am adding to
this each period. I also have a small team, which I
didn't think I would do as I am quite shy, but with
support from our sponsors I am working towards
building up my team.
My ultimate goal is to be able to earn enough money
so my husband Alan can give up his job as a long
distance lorry driver and come in to this business
with me.
I also need a bigger car.
Since starting with
this business my life has turned around. I have a
suntan, have made new friends and am not working
under pressure. Losing my daughter will never be
easy but I am so much happier in my work which has
made a lot of difference.
I also have the
added bonus of a Grandson who is the apple of my
eye.
